Multi-Room Systems
| A multi-room system, is
single system that controls various systems in other parts of
the house. It can be as simple as a
two zone receiver
powering up a pair of speakers in the kitchen. It can also
be as intricate as a multi-room controller that controls blinds,
lights, sound and picture in a dedicated home theater room.
There is an infinite number of ways to install and configure a
multi-room system, so it's just a matter of figuring out what
system fits you best. |

There are several elements you can include in a multi-room
system as well. Just to name a few, you can have speakers
in every room, multiple displays,
room-to-room intercoms, lighting and HVAC controls, in-wall iPod docks, and you can even
have in-wall touch-screen panels to control the whole system.
There are factors that will determine which system works for you
such as:
1. Your budget
2. How you plan on operating the system
3. What you want your system to do
4. What other equipment will be involved in the
installation
5. How much wire needs to be installed
6. How easy it will be to install the wire
